What is an In-Person Plus program?

Program-required courses are taught through a combination of in-person and remote delivery. Remote learning may require meeting at a specific time or may not have a specific class time; all weekly interactions and assignments for remote courses are completed through a learning site.

The Vermont State Political Science B.A. will give you the freedom to explore the field’s many career tracks and the hands-on opportunities to choose how to make your impact. Through focused interaction with the outside community, you’ll develop the leadership, critical-thinking, and communication skills you need to contribute to civic and political life.

In our political science major, you’ll learn about a variety of intersecting fields, from international relations and American government to public policy and law. You also can expand your viewpoint by choosing a minor in Gender Studies, Global Studies, or Pre-Law. As you prepare for political science degree jobs, you’ll finish with the passion and confidence to be an engaged citizen who can help improve lives and shape the future.
