Castleton's student-run radio station has been broadcasting since 1976. The new Castleton Internet Radio is located in the Campus Center next to the SGA offices and is open to all students, faculty, and staff.
Castleton Internet Radio (formerly WIUV 91.3FM) is a place where you can speak your mind and listen to any and all kinds of music (not just the songs that other stations have on loop). All genres of music are welcome: rock, pop, rap, country, dance, jazz, blues, oldies, you name it! In fall 2019, Castleton officially said goodbye to its student-run FM radio station WIUV and hello to a new way of broadcast, Castleton Internet Radio. The new Castleton Internet Radio will be streamed 24- hours a day on TuneIn, a free internet radio service.
While the mode of broadcast has changed, the station's mission remains the same: To educate, inform, and entertain the Castleton community across the airwaves and the internet.
For one hour a week, you can host a show and play your favorite tunes, discuss the latest news, talk about your favorite sports, or anything else you can think of. Whatever it is you're passionate about, discover your voice and join Castleton Internet Radio today.
