Social Studies is the perfect subject to study through inquiry. Students in this course will learn how to build an inquiry based social study unit based on the C3 Standards that can be taught on its own or integrated into literacy instruction. Participants will study questions, sources and activities that lead to a student’s deeper understanding of Social Studies concepts. The course will culminate with each participant having an inquiry based lesson that they can teach in their classroom.
