Course Description
Canva templates and resources are easy to use and allow teachers to design engaging, visually impactful class resources that reflect the teacher's style, school, and classroom culture. The templates and other free tools integrate into any content area and work with various learning management systems. Teachers also have the option to print engaging resources that they would typically search for and pay a premium on through sites like Teachers-Pay-Teachers. The software can integrate photos, clip art, and video to make instruction exciting and visually appealing.

- Teachers will effectively integrate graphics, video, and computer technology into their classrooms for enhanced teaching and learning.
- Teachers will produce working resources in their subject area to implement in their classrooms during the school year. These are resources that they can start using immediately. The Course's power is that it gives participants time to discover new ideas, develop new skills, and integrate technology into their existing curriculum.
- Sharpen skills working with photo, graphic arts, and video editing tools
- Share these resources with district colleagues
- Learn about AI-integrated tools and how they can make planning, design, and preparation easier.
Course Objectives:
- Explore how to design various projects in the Canva Education Software.
- Use an iPad to take photos and video to interact with Canva Software on the go using an iPad Canva App.
- Sign up for Canva in Education to access the free educational tools.
- Explore how Canva can integrate with a learning management system.
- Examine how to engage students and parents through these exciting tools.
