Comedian Ms. Pat

Growing up in a tough West end neighborhood of Atlanta, to a single mother of five was where Ms. Pat began life. By the time she was 14, Ms. Pat knew she wasn’t going to college and started to have children of her own. From there she became a drug dealer and was arrested multiple times and shot twice. At 19 years old, she met her husband, a military vet, who showed her a way out. Ms. Pat began to build up her family, including her sister’s four young children, and realized she had a knack for telling funny stories. It was at that time that her comedy career began.
