Academic and financial counseling, course selection, degree planning, scholarship applications and graduate school help.
Since 2003, Kelley has overseen the Academic Support Center and helped students - particularly first-generation and low-income students - to succeed and graduate from college. During this time, she successfully wrote or co-wrote six TRIO grants, each worth over $1 million. Kelley is a creative student program developer, committed program solver, and dedicated academic counselor/advisor. She provides students with academic and financial counseling, course selection guidance, degree planning assistance, scholarship application support, and graduate school help.
Throughout her 25-plus year career as a college administrator, counselor, and educator, assisting students to realize the value of a college degree, communicate effectively, leverage technology successfully, and understand their financial situations completely have been ongoing passions. Since 2008, Kelley has also taught part-time in Castleton's Business Administration department.
