Nursing Schools Almanac has named Castleton University’s School of Nursing No. 59 among institutions in New England.
To produce its list, Nursing Schools Almanac reviews nearly 3,000 nursing schools and campuses across the country before assessing them on three factors: the institution's academic prestige and perceived value, the breadth and depth of nursing programs offered, and student success (particularly on the NCLEX licensure examination).
Castleton is home to several Nursing programs for professionals at various stages of their careers. This includes a CCNE-accredited baccalaureate program and an online master’s degree in Nursing with a nurse educator or clinical nurse leader concentration. Our campuses in Castleton and Bennington feature state-of-the-art simulation centers, featuring a medication dispensing unit, pediatric simulators, and more.
Vermont Technical College – a member of the Vermont State Colleges System and one of the three schools that will soon comprise Vermont State University – was also recognized on the list, holding the No. 56 spot.
