This year, Castleton University and the Vermont State Colleges are providing millions of dollars in scholarships, free tuition programs, and other financial aid opportunities for Vermont students.
Thanks to generous funding from the State of Vermont, Castleton is proud to be part of the following programs:
This scholarship provides up to $5,000 for Vermonters transferring to Castleton from an out-of-state college or university, or those who might be returning to school after leaving college between March 1, 2020, and May 1, 2021.
This scholarship will provide free tuition for up to 30 credits for Vermonters who have been out of school for at least two years and have completed at least 40 college credits. This scholarship is a direct response to Vermont’s need for skilled workers and the more than 50,000 Vermonters who have some college experience but do not yet have a credential or a degree.
This program will provide one year of free tuition to Vermonters enrolled in a variety of Critical Occupation programs during the 2021-22 academic year. At Castleton, those programs include Early Childhood & Special Education and Nursing (BSN).
This program offers one tuition-free course at Castleton or another VSCS institution for all 2020 and 2021 high school or equivalent graduates, provided by VSAC.
