The Castleton University Women's Alpine Ski team has enjoyed its best results at the USCSA National Championships in the history of the program. On the first day of the championships, led by All-American performances by Linn Ljungemo and Kylie Mackie, the Spartans finished in third place in the giant slalom. Two days later, Mackie and Ljungemo finished ninth and 10th, respectively, and Li Aunes ended up in fourth place, achieving All-American honors for all three skiers, to lead Castleton to a second-place finish in the slalom.
